well my problem is my one side fairing is broken in half, no i didn't crash n i'd rather not talk about it.  what i'm wondering is whether i should just rip off the other fairing and give it a street fighter look or replace the fairing?  i see fairings on e-bay for like 20 bucks but there's usually a bit of damage and they're never the right color. so if i was to do something like that does anyone know how much it would cost to paint and decal 1 side fairing??  at the same time i think the street fighter look would be cool too but the other thing i have to take into consideration is i might sell my bike come spring.  if i decide to sell it what would be an easier sale? or make more money on the sale??  anyways with all those things in mind what do u think??  any help here would be much appreciated, thanks.

Shouldn't cost you much for paint. I had the full upper fairing and a couple little pieces on my gsxr painted for $120. Just do the prep yourself if you want to save some cash.

If your selling your bike i'd make it look as non stuntish as possible. Don't go streetfighter and don't have stunt sprockets on!

Holly man I just remembered back to that ride after reading this. You never got er fixed yet eh? I'd say your best bet is to get one from ebay like you said. If your patient, wait till spring since it's parked anyways and search daily until you find one thats the same yellow buy it, or else just get whatever one is cheap on there now and have it painted. My buddy just got his tail section painted black and it was only 175$, and it was a bit scuffed up don't know if that made it more expensive to paint or not. So for 1 fairing, it shouldn't be more then that I'd imagine, but remember decals can be pricey. For the limited edition R1 1 side's decals is 400ish dollars Shocked.

Did you check ebay? Can usually find lots of OEM replica decals for cheap. Worth a shot.

When I was looking at decals for my F4i Alsport wanted 100$ for each side.  I think I would keep her looking oringinal.  You got a HOT bike so I would try keeping it that way.  Be patient and keep watching e-bay.  I am sure something will come along.

Why don't you just get the decals made by a place like the Stripe shop?

because i don't know what i'm doin and have never had to deal with something like this before.  but if alsport will decal 1 side for 100 bucks i think i'll do that, i figured it would be lot more expensive then that.
