'Holiday' screws are the norm, Rec. Supply in S'toon sells them ~$90 a box, any shop can order those for you, I do not recommend  'cold cutters' (IMO). Calgary 'Rock Central Cycle' sells an excellent brand but at about $125 a bag.
 Yeah Bill, these 'Studly' tires are helping make up for my lost youth! Rock on

Awesome pic, there is a video or two floating around with some fast sportbikes on ice! I checked into making a set of those tires (in case any body is interested), I figured approximately $1000 just for the picks, and they were the cheapest I could find. Expensive but wicked, wicked fun! Rock on

winter is here and i just got a bike. Hmmm.......
I've done ice racing in the past in a car with bolted tires. Was great fun. I work with a guy who ice races bikes too, and he's been egging me on to come and try it. Hmm.........great way to destroy fairings!
