The other thing too is that if the tach and digital guages aren't working, you don't know for how long they haven't been working and I don't know if I would trust the 12 000 KM guess.  As soon as you unplug the guages the odometer stops reading too.  Just something else to add to the list.  As for price, I agree that you can buy one that is not a TL for $6000 in good shape.  I would really hope that no one pays more than $2500 - $2800 for this before the taxes... and no I'm not bidding on it trying to scare people off either.  I just don't understand why SGI bikes are going for such a premium these days.

I used to work with Dr Phil at the Bike Doctor... he wouldn't do that... he is looking for a SV.

p.s.  for a 5 year old 600cc total loss bike, $1200 is a good deal $3000 is a bad deal... remember there is 11% tax on that.

I was looking at it...  the cluster is the expensive part of that rebuild. Probably the reason it was totaled. but the good news is that it starts.

Ya, I was quite suprised that it started up after like 10 seconds of cranking after being in the cold so long.  It ended up selling for 3350 to somebody.
