Now the last year and a half, I am on grain headers (auger headers, no drapers), and corn heads doing current product engineering, so no new clean slate projects, just model year improvements and that kind of stuff.

That's the way it normally goes for companies that shape steel I would imagine. I was always a bit surprised at the improvements/modifications made to MacDon's draper headers from one cycle to the next. No massive redesign but lots of new bits and pieces.  I did some work with electronics for their steering system for their M series swathers. We were testing in Yuma, AZ last winter and they were running one of their discbine headers at 21 mph. The thing sounded like a high pitched vacuum cleaner.

no no you got it wrong you buy it first then ask her if you can have it cuz if she says no you  say sorry cuz you already have it

Actually, she basically said if I could sell my current bike (An '82 Yamaha Seca 650), I could borrow the rest that I needed from our savings to pay back.  So its listed... but I'm thinking not much will happen until spring.

IT Security at SaskTel.

Pays good, but need to come up with a bit of cash quick... saw a VFR800 on kijiji that sounds like something I would really like, but I won't have the cash for a few months (at least).  Course then I still have to convince the wife to let me buy it Smiley

It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask for permission...  Wink

Mainframe Programmer/Security Administrator.

I wasn't really expecting to see a co-worker on these forums!

LONG LIVE 4TH FLOOR!

I'm a programmer. My focus is on mainframe as well as a few batch java programs (which is retarded) and in a few months I'll be working on the new portal. I'm sure you've all heard of the company! Since potash corp took a huge dive this year, we will most likely be number 1 in Saskatchewan!

Yeah, he still works here. I've actually requested security notes from him on many different occasions. I just thought it was funny.
