Hey all.  I just moved to Saskatoon from Regina and I bought a condo here.  anyhow, my condo doesnt have much for parking, and its all above ground.  I wanna bring my Z1000 here, but I dont want to leave it outside all summer in an open lot!

Whats the cheapest place that allows for storage.  Ive checked a few places, and I cant find anything where I can have access to my bike 24/7 ....
Thanks for any help!

The 24/7 is a bit of a doozy.  I know my dad uses Thanes for his work trucks.  Not sure if they'll take bikes or not.

you could get a cover for the bike to keep it safe from the elements.... or is it the way other people drive that you are worried about?

build a ramp and put it in your living room, try G5 truck storage or you need to find someone with secure underground parkling

I wouldn't leave my bike out either!

Would they let you put one of these bad boys on the property?

I don't think that will go over well with the condo board.... if they let one person put that on the common property then they would have to let everyone

lol for an extra $15/month they'll let you live in it too lol

Speaking as someone that used to be on the condo board, they may not like it.  But I have my doubts they have bylaws against it provided it's insured.

Im not being anal.  Truth of ther matter is that it's only going to be ridden one or 2 times a week, and im not in a BAD area, but its a high traffic area with all sorts of people walking around (and near a bar)  So I just want a safe place I can keep it thats not overly expensive.

Im new to Saskatoon and dont know too many people, so no friends garages!  And I have a TINY parking spot at my condo, no room for much else!

high quality bike cover.    i was in the same spot - the street was my only option and it was a high traffic area.  cover keep hands off and kept it clean.

A bike and a smaller car can definitely share a condo spot. I've done this with no hassles.

I would suggest buying a cover, alarm, and a package policy, and park it somewhere in the open with light.  I understand that you don't want people messing with you bike, but with no alternative that's what insurance is for.  All you can do is protect your bike the best you can in the cirumstances you are given.
