For what its worth 98% of my braking is not "emergency braking"

just because your comfortable does not make you safe. in fact - it probably makes you more dangerous.

depends on what i'm doing, but most of the time, putzing around, the rear is all i use to slow down.  mind you, this is in weyburn, where things don't move too fast.  so turning left/right i'll use the rear to slow a bit before the corner.  if i'm coming up to a full stop it's all front or a combo of the two, with a vast majority of the pressure on the front.  i also hit up some not used very often roads outta town once and a while to practice some emergency braking.  keep it somewhat fresh, ya know?

I will use the rear brake to test for traction if I am uncertain of traction (rough pavement, gravel, sand, etc). It's not very scary to lock up the rear. I would rather know what I am dealing with before grabbing a handful of front.
