I've done it twice, once to go 400m to fill up and once to go about 1 km to a friends house.   It was a nice feeling to ride in jeans and a t-shirt, but the whole time I was super paranoid.  Course there was no traffic, but it just didn't feel safe because it wasn't.

I wear my leather 98% of the time... it's perforated so I don't get hot in it no matter what the temp.

I've only gone with a t-shirt twice... and it was when I was just cruizin' @ 50 k/hr... I had the gf on the back and she was molesting my chest and midsection... she doesn't do that when I'm wearing my leather armour LOL.

Wilt

PS I prefer to wear the leather though... she can feel me up better after the ride...

Hahaha - that's funn-ay Ryan - they have no where else to grab onto hey - mine holds on to my jacket - doen't like the feeling of her arms clasped onto each other.

One of my squidly days with her on the back was the same way hehe  Rock on

its like getting shot with a bullet, it wont be any worse not wearing a shirt.   it wont be any better wearing a long sleeve.

isnt it like high percentage of crashes happen close to home/ short trips. why woudnt you wear gear, and if you dont wear gear and have to take a short trip, better plan an extra hour and a half of riding in there just to be safe since there is a higher percentage that something bad will happen in a short trip

I never ride without my gear, I strip it down and open all the vents - but I never ride without it, maybe I'm a loser or a chickenshit but I don't want to rub my skin off if I can help it.....

But I know what you mean - it is so tempting right now to just throw on a pair of shorts and some sandles with a tee and get some nice cool fresh air .... can't say I blame some of you guys that do.....

Hey it's all good just as long as you know exactly when you're gonna crash or when Gramma is gonna blow the stop sign in front of you.  If you don't, better have gear on.  It's a real ***** getting that gravel wire brushed out.  Ask me - I know.
