Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if SSBA or anyone privately has ever organized a motorcycle show and shine. I ask because, to my knowledge every year I have seen the Saskatoon english car club do a show and shine by the red Double Decker bus. Just like they did last weekend. Other car clubs seem to do show and shines as well. It seems to me that whenever people are out riding the general public does like to rubber neck, and watch us go by. Our machines are are some of the most technologically advanced vehicles on the road, and I think it would be nice to have a show, and shine of our own. Expose the public to the machines up close, and let them meet the people behind the lids. I don't think it is hard to get the okay from city hall to be allowed to block off the parking area by the Red Double Decker bus for ourselves for half a day. If that spot isn't great we can find a different one.

What do you all think?

Police hate us. It'd be cool to do something like that though, for sure. buttttt I'm almost positive you'd get those jerks that come up to you and say "this is dangerous. you guys are unsafe, blah blah blah"
Anyway, I'm down if enough people are interested!

Is this to go along with the Thunder City Demo Days being held from there that day?

Show & Shine would be a great idea! The toughest obstacle is obviously the weather, but you pick a date, stick to it, and hope for the best!

If there are any Saskatoon members that would be willing to work with our events coordinators, please PM cowboyrt (Cody) or Smugly (Doug).

Here's the thread on it. Put on by VW Tire Guy, aka Fonzy on this board. I wasn't aware of another Demo Days coming, as they just had one two weeks ago, but it might be.

The date of July 26th was thrown out a couple weeks ago, but hasn't been confirmed, so I don't know what is the latest on this.

Saw the link below about demo days... not sure why I thought it happened 2 weeks ago.
