This can be accomplished by using proper slow speed riding techniques also.  Use the clutch at the friction point and the rear brake against each other and you will create a very stable bike at slow speed.

What they have shown in the video is great practice also.  Most people tend to become really nervous when their handlebars are at full lock.  So this could help with that also.
