1 man gun on the boulevard at Attridge and Forest Dr. targeting traffic heading west just around the curve past the soccer fields.

here is the scoop guys. the cops are getting very clever with their speed traps. most of the time, by time you see the police cars on the side of the road they already have you. i would know, my dad is the guy who is in charge of the traffic section of the saskatoon police, and is the guy who organizes the speed traps, and he also rides... so the only way to avoid getting caught is to watch your speeds. if you are going within 10km/hr of the posted limit you are going to be fine. save the +200km/hr and any other "stupid" stuff for outside the city.

and remember that they also have an airplane that likes to patrol circle drive.

That is so right Dave, or better yet, pay the 25 bucks and race the crap out of your bike on the strip where you can go as fast as your heart desires.... or get out for those track days

So... out of curiosity (and no other self serving purpose) is that plane ALWAYS in operation?  Or just at certain times of the day?

Saskatoon has a plane reporting back to the cops on the ground? Holy Crap!!! Shocked
When did they start this project?

When I lived in Toon town I never heard of something like this once. I used Circle Dr to get to work, and in the morning people were flying on that road. I would go 130-140 km just keeping with traffic.

the actual plane has been used for a few years now and just last year they got the the highways marked every so many meters. then they time you fro one to the other and then calculate it out and then send the police to your location
